The Mindfulness Based Addiction and Trauma Therapist (MBATT) Certification Program
The MBATT certification training, offered by the Mindfulness Academy of Addiction and Trauma Training, is a highly respected and evidence-based CEU certification program. It equips mental health professionals with specialized mindfulness based interventions to support clients in achieving long-term recovery from problematic sexual behaviors, compulsive pornography use, multiple addictions, betrayal trauma, and complex trauma. While cognitive behavioral therapy can be beneficial at the start of recovery, it is now understood that effectively addressing addiction, betrayal trauma, and complex trauma requires an approach that integrates polyvagal theory and mindfulness-based, research-supported methods for long term healing and recovery.
